Bio

I am Ashish Kumar, currently a Research Associate at IHOPE.

My research interests lie in macroeconomics and span business cycle theory and the role that production networks play in causing aggregate fluctuations. In addition, I am also interested in empirical industrial organization, and health economics.

I completed my Master’s degree in Economics from Ashoka University in 2020. Then I started working as a full time research assistant for Professor Chirantan Chatterjee and Professor Anindya S Chakrabarti at the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad.
